Grozny has opened the 3rd All-Russian Assembly of Chechen Youth today, SKFO.ru reports.
Attendants of the assembly will discuss the formation of a positive image of Chechnya, strengthening of ties between young people, how to inform Chechen young people living abroad about customs and traditions of Chechnya, problems of young people in Chechnya and tolerance and respect of other peoples.
The assembly started with the laying of flowers to Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov, the first Chechen president and Hero of Russia, at the Glory Alley Memorial. The participants visited that State Theater and Concert Hall in Grozny where the assembly is held.
Over 100 delegates from 34 regions of Russia took part in the first assembly in 2012.
