Brothers Isa Geroyev, aged 30, and Khamzat Geroyev, aged 28, have been sentenced for murder of Chechen arbitrary judge Adam Agakhajiyev and businessman Isa Atayev, RIA Novosti reports.
Their bodies were found in a ditch near the Vladikavkaz-Pyatigorsk road in October 2013. Investigators say that the murder was committed to steal the Toyota Camry the two victims drove to the Kavkaz Café.
The murderers stole property worth a total of over 1,575,000 rubles. Isa Geroyev got 24 years in jail and a fine of 50,000 rubles, Khamzat Geroyev was sentenced to 20 years and fined with 30,000 rubles.
