Adygeya to mark 150th anniversary of end of Caucasian War

Adygeya is preparing to mark the 150th anniversary of the end of the Caucasian War (1817-1864), Yuga.ru reports.Adygeya will organize round-table conferences for scientists, publicity and historians, music evenings, cinema demonstrations, contests. Pupils will take part in the traditional essay contest about victims of the war.A requiem will be organized in Maikop on May 21. People will lay flowers to victims of the war in Adygeysk, Takhtamukay and Ponezhukay. The Memory requiem for heroes of the war will be organized by the Adygeya Folk Culture Center.
