Power supply in eastern Georgia and the city of Tbilisi has been totally restored. Most of Georgian territory lost electric supplies at 2.55 pm due to damage to high-voltage power lines, ITAR-TASS reports.
The damage was caused by a fire in the Mtskheta region in the eastern part of the country. As a result several regions of Georgia and 80% of Tbilisi experienced a power cut. The subway in the capital was out of operation for almost half an hour.
