Alexey Pushkov, head of the Duma committee for international affairs, said that the visit by CIA Director John O. Brennan to Ukraine cast doubts about the independence of the new Ukrainian government from Washington, ITAR-TASS reports.
Pushkov is confident that such contacts make it obvious that the US organized the coup in Ukraine. He reiterated that Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseny Yatsenyuk was welcome in the US.
Yesterday, the White House confirmed Brennan’s visit to Kiev last weekend.
