Japanese fighter jets scrambled targeting Russian aircraft for 4 days

The Japanese ministry of defense has reported that Japanese Air Self-Defense Force fighter jets have been scrambled many times in the last 4 days, targeting Russian fighter jets because of their proximity to Japanese airspace. Two Russian fighter jets were spotted today in immediate proximity to Japanese airspace, ITAR-TASS reports.

 

The Japanese ministry of defense stated that Russian jets have made over 15 flights along the west coast of the Japanese archipelago since March 26.
