Twitter Vice President Colin Crowell said that the website will not open an office in Turkey in the near future, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Crowell is currently on a visit to Turkey to discuss Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s demand to block the network. He has been meeting Turkish officials since Monday. The sides have agreed to improve information exchange and prevent blocks of the website in the future.
Erdogan accuses Twitter of tax evasion and promised an investigation.
