Georgian ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili was not given an opportunity to make a speech at the Georgians in the USA evening hosted by the National Restaurant in Brooklyn (New York), Interfax reports.
About 150 people were at the evening. Some of them left the restaurant when Saakashvili tried to stop singers to make his speech, according to Shoren Tetrauli, a migrant taking part in the festival.
She noted that people were tired of hearing about his deeds. In her words, about half of guests present left the restaurant. Tetrauli added that Saakashvili was not allowed to say anything in the microphone.
