CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha has stated that the organization has ended contacts with NATO over the situation in Ukraine, RIA Novosti reports.
In his words, the NATO was “blackmailing” Russia and its allies. NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said last week that the organization was planning to send additional forces to enforce its presence and hold military drills. The Alliance intensified its patrols in Eastern Europe and plans to send ships to the Baltic Sea and the eastern part of the Mediterranean.
