According to WCIOM social polls, 78% of Russians are happy. This sets a record of the last 25 years, RIA Novosti reports.
92% of people aged 18-24 say that are happy.
77% of the population considered itself happy in 2012 and 2013. People associate happiness with family, children and grandchildren, work and studies. There have become twice as many people happy with having a life than before. The main complaint of unhappy people is low income and health problems.
1600 people were questioned in 130 residential areas of 42 regions on April 19-20. The statistical error is 3.4% at maximum.
