Passenger ferry to open between Crimea and Caucasus

A passenger ferry will open between the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea over the Kerch Strait on May 1, RIA Novosti reports.

The Port Caucasus – Port Crimea ferry will only be used by passengers. It will transport 2,000-6,000 people a day.

Russian Minister for Transportation Maksim Sokolov noted next week that a large flow of unorganized tourists will visit Crimea by car in May. Trucks were recommended to use the route from Novorossiysk to Feodosiya.
