Russian President Vladimir Putin will award five Russians with the golden Labour Hero Stars at the Kremlin on May 1, RIA Novosti reports.
Putin signed the decree on Labour Hero awards on March 29, 2013. The stars are given to people with merits in state, public and economic sectors.
The first ceremony to honour people with Labour Hero Stars was held in Saint-Petersburg on the International Workers’ Day a year ago.
Putin will also meet officials of trade union organizations and discuss realization of programs for raising salaries of state workers.
