A parade dedicated to the 69th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War was held in the capital of Karachay-Cherkessia, Cherkessk.
Congratulating the veterans and all citizens of the republic, the head of Karachay-Cherkessia noted that the Victory Day is the dearest holiday.
"We are united by the memory of millions of soldiers who fought in WWII and of those who fell in battles, who fought in the war in the rear," the head of the republic, Rashid Temrezov said.
