The Georgian Ministry for Regional Development and the Interior Ministry have dug a new course for the River Terek at its conjunction with the River Devdoraki.
Specialists are continuing to clear the Georgian Military Road of thousands of tons of rocks that fell in the Darial Gorge. Dozens of vehicles are being used in the process. Interior Minister Alexander Chikaidze is supervising the work.
