Alexander Linnik, the press attaché of the Russian embassy in Tunisia, confirmed that an 8-year-old Russian girl had been killed at a hotel room at the Mahdia Resort of Tunisia on May 13, Interfax reports.
The girl is presumed to have been strangled. She arrived in the resort from Saint-Petersburg together with her mother. The Russian embassy is in touch with investigators working on the case.
