The Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov was awarded Order of Compassion by the National Public Recognition Fund "for the kindness and humanity," the press service of the Chechen Republic reports.
The foundation said it acknowledged Kadyrov's efforts in providing social assistance "to children and widows of the fallen defenders of the Fatherland, veterans and a highly moral civil stand," Kasparov.ru reports.
