The body of a two-year-old child killed in a minibus accident on the 33rd km of the Agvari-Kidero road in the Tsuntinsky District of Dagestan has been found . The death toll amounts to seven people, including three children. Four more children who had been on the minibus that fell into the River Andiyskoye-Kuysyu remain missing, Interfax reports.
The child’s body was found a few dozen kilometers downstream from the accident.
The police believe that the accident was caused by a rockfall. The minibus driver and two passengers exited the vehicle to clear the road, only to be hit by another rockfall, according to the police theory.
Dagestani Head Ramazan Abdulatipov declared Thursday a day of mourning.
