A Georgian passenger (born in 1973) flying from Kutaisi to Minsk passed a message to the pilots demanding that they fly to a European country. There were 32 passengers, including a child, and four crew members on board, RIA Novosti reports.
The plane landed at Minsk Airport at 6.50am. Belarusian KGB and Group A officers persuaded the man to give himself up at 8.10am. The passengers and the crew left the plane at 8.15am.
