Two schoolgirls die on school trip in ChechnyaAn investigation has started in Chechnya into the deaths of two schoolgirls who drowned in a mountain river during a school trip.According to the investigative authorities, on Saturday the 14th of June the 13th secondary school of Argun organized a trip to the Shatoy Region of the republic for pupils of the 9th grade.During a break at 4 p.m. two schoolgirls stepped into the Chanty-Argun River and fell into the water due to the rapid current. The adults present couldn't save the girls. The girls’ bodies were found in the river two hours later 6 km from the scene of the accident.
