The speaker of the Russian Federation Council, Valentina Matvienko, as criticized the work of the administration of Stavropol Territory, calling on officials to work more effectively.
“It seems that at work you only write love letters to your girlfriends. How else can the inefficiency of your government be explained?” Matvienko asked during the governmental hour in the Federation Council, responding to a complaint by the deputy chairman of the Stavropol government, Yuri Skvortsov, on absence of resources for development of local resorts.
