The 13th International Russian Language Contest for school children came to an end in Moscow. It is organized by the A.S. Pushkin State University and the Ministry of Education, Rossotrudnichestvo, the International Association of the Russian Language and Literature Teachers, and the Russian World Fund.
According to Interfax-Azerbaijan, 205 students from 29 countries took part in the contest. Six of them were from Azerbaijan.
Maya Novruzova, Rauf Babayev, and Irana Zeinalova won first place diplomas. Sisters Zlata and Vladlena Dana took third place diplomas. Husein Abbasov took the second place in the competition of “Young Speaker” and became an absolute winner of the Contest.
