The Dagestani Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has issued a warning on fire dangers in low-lying areas of Dagestan for June 24-26.The ministry urged residents not to start campfires, to refrain from visiting fire-dangerous areas and to be careful while in wooded areas. "It is strongly recommended not to leave a fire burning unattended, to carefully extinguish fires when leaving woods, to pour water on it or cover it with soil, take precautions," RIA Novosti cites a ministry representative.They also assured that the forces and means of the MES of Russia in the Republic of Dagestan are ready to respond quickly to potential emergencies.
