The mayor of Makhachkala, Magomed Suleimanov, has ordered squatter settlement in the city to be resisted. According to the head of the Department of Control over Construction of the Makhachkala administration, Ibragim Ibragimov, in one district alone more than 100 illegally-constructed facilities were detected.
Ibragimov emphasizes that the city administration acts severely against people who occupy state territories and spaces which are allocated for gardens and playgrounds.
