Gaffel Kolsch to remove Iranian flag from beer bottles

 

Gaffel Kolsch, a beer company headquartered in Berlin, has agreed to remove the Iranian flag from its special bottles made for the 2014 FIFA World Cup and apologize, Trend reports.The bottles had labels with colours of flags of countries taking part in the Cup. Alcohol is banned in Iran, so the “Allah is great” phrase on the Iranian flag on beer bottles was taken as an insult in the Islamic Republic.
