According to Speaker of the Novorossiya Parliament, Oleg Tsarev, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko’s order to form a humanitarian corridor for evacuation of peaceful civilians has not been fulfilled, RIA Novosti reports.
Tsarev noted that plumbing in Sloviansk had been fixed, but the city was short on grain and needed to move children out of the area. He claimed that five field commanders had been helping move children out, but their bus was attacked. The official clarified that half of the population remained in the city. He added that a tender for the symbol of the new state had been declared the previous day.
