Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the Ministry of Education to accelerate the development of youth policy priorities and undertake all the necessary measures to improve the quality of the state program of patriotic education.
One of the participants of the meeting, the chairman of the Duma Committee on Nationalities, Gadzhimet Safariliev talked about the meeting with Vestnik Kavkaza.
"The meeting was of an intellectual and humanitarian nature, particularly dedicated to the influence of language, culture and history on the education of the youth," Safaraliev said.
Safaraliev stressed that it is important to maintain certain unifying themes in the history of Russia, but at the same time preserve the cultures and languages of all peoples living in Russia.
