Adygeya is investigating the criminal case against the head of a FSEP
(Federal Service of Execution and Punishment) department in the
region, suspected of embezzling budget funds, and 30 of his
subordinates, who were helping their chief cover up the theft, RIA
Novosti reports, citing the local prosecution service.
According to the investigation, the funds were to be spent on
operative and search tasks. The 32 members of FSEP will be accused of
administrative forgery and the head of the department has been accused
of embezzlement.
