Saudi Arabia’s CWYR has put Lomonosov Moscow State University in 48th place in the list of the world’s top 50 best universities. The university was in 90th position in the list the previous year.
The educational quality at the MSU was rated 14, the quality of its staff was given a rating of 50. Academician Victor Sadovnichy, the rector of the MSU, said that the rating improved due to the growing volume of publications of the university in popular magazines and high-quality education.
The CWYR rating considers expert evaluations, research activities, skills of teachers and science patents of universities.
