A suspected thief in Teberda (Karachayevsky District, Karachay-Cherkessia) wounded a police officer trying to detain him, said Nelli Karabasheva, a spokeswoman of the Karachay-Cherkessian Interior Ministry, Interfax reports.The officer sustained medium injuries and was taken to the Karachayevsk Central District Hospital.
