A convoy of 30 tons of food is on its way from Grozny to Novoshakhtinsk (Rostov Oblast) for Ukrainian refugees. The convoy was organized by the Akhmat Kadyrov Regional Public Fund, ministries and agencies of the region and the Grozny Mayor’s Office.
Mukhtar Ortsuyev, deputy head of the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies in Chechnya, said that the food will be distributed today.
On Friday Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov met Shaid Zhamaldayev, the Chechen minister for foreign contacts, national policy, press and information, and decided to send humanitarian aid. 50 tons of food and water and 10 tons of fuel were prepared for the refugees, the Chechen government reports.
