Large counterfeiting group detained in Dagestan

 

A large group of counterfeiters printing fake 5,000-ruble banknotes has been detained in Dagestan, Gazeta.ru reports.The banknotes had mainly been used in the North Caucasus and other southern regions of the country. Income was used to finance extremist organizations in the North Caucasus. The police are uncertain how much money the counterfeiters spent on militants.
