The number of terrorist crimes has grown by 72% in Russia since the start of the year, as stated by Head of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, RIA Novosti reports.
The number of extremist crimes grew by 30% in 2013, compared with 2012, according to Bastrykin’s report in February. He claimed that the rising number of such crimes was a result of late and indecisive actions by law enforcers.
