Golden and silver items donated to the icon of St. Nicolas were stolen from the St. Nicolas Church of the Kintsvisi Monastery (Shida Kartli Region, Georgia) on the night of July 28-29, News Georgia reports.

The monastery is situated in the gorge of the River Dzama in the Karela District, a few kilometers from Kintsvisi. The monastery was built in the 12-13th centuries. It consists of churches, the St. Nicolas Church being the main one.
