Zaurbek Yusunov, Khalil Karasov, Rashidd Kumukov and Alibek Khamukov received medals marking the 25th anniversary of the end of the mission in Afghanistan. 22 Afghanis received the medals. A total of 53 soldiers will receive the medals in the Adyghe-Khablsky and the Nogaysky districts of Karachay-Cherkessia, RIA Karachay-Cherkessia reports.
Ali Sanglibayev, the head of the draft office of the two districts, said that the medals were the least they could award to thank soldiers for fulfilling their duty.
