The Georgian Minister for Youth and Sports Levan Kipiani said that his ministry had an urgent meeting with the Football Federation yesterday. He noted that the problem that occurred at the first match between the football clubs Chikhura (Sachkhere) and Neftchi (Baku) will not happen again, Georgia Online reports.
At the match, fans of Chikhura raised a poster depicting Georgia with the Zagatala and Qakh districts of Azerbaijan and some areas of Turkey and Armenia as part of Georgian territory. Georgian and Azerbaijani fans started a fight,which was stopped by the police. Several people were detained.
