Explosion near eternal flame in Nalchik

An explosion hit the 'eternal flame' memorial in Nalchik, capital of
the North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, early on Friday,
RIA Novosti reports, citing the Interior Ministry of the region.
It was either a gas or a bomb explosion, police say.
