Georgian soldiers leave Kabul

Georgian soldiers are leaving the Phoenix Base in Kabul. The squad of the 13th battalion of the First Infantry Brigade of Georgia held a special ceremony. Sergeant Georgy Tabliashvili of the squad brought the flag to Colonel Johnny Tatunashvili, the senior military representative of Georgia in Afghanistan, Trend reports.

Georgian soldiers received NATO medals. U.S. Lieutenant-Colonel Alex McLemore handed honorary medals of the US state of Georgia to Georgian soldiers. The mission of the 13th battalion lasted five months.
