Georgian National Center gives recommendations to survive heat

The average temperature in Georgia will reach 40 degrees Celsius this week. The National Center for Disease and Public Health Control has developed a set of recommendations published today. Children, babies and the elderly, people with heart problems, endocrinological and neurological problems, overweight people and alcoholics are the main concern of the Center.

People were recommended to stay in cool places, drink more water, refrain from alcohol, sweet and cold drinks. The Center recommends imbibing minerals and salts, wearing light clothes, hats, sunglasses. Aspirin and aminacetophen were recommended for sunburn, high fever and nausea.
