The Dreams Come True charity marathon will start in Kabardino-Balkaria on August 22. All money collected at the marathon will be donated to orphans and children in complicated life situations.
The marathon will be held opposite the Vostok Cinema Theater. Host Fatima Magomedova said that the project will help families adopting orphans. Six families have already been picked, four of them raise orphans, two of them raise disabled children.
The marathon will be held with support of the republic’s administration and the Nalchik city district. Staff of district administrations, ministries and agencies will take part in the event.
Magomedova noted that over 200,000 rubles were collected at a similar festival in 2013.
