Investigators have charged Farid Khanamirov, an assistant prosecutor of Makhachkala, and his brother Amir with attempted murder. According to investigators, the brothers and another unidentified figure arrived at a café near Yarag-Kazmalyar (Magaramkentsky District) with guns on August 13. They met a local to resolve a conflict with him and their sister. The local was shot three times, though he survived the attack, Yuga.ru reports.
Farid Khanamirov was fired from the prosecutor’s office after the initiation of the case. He was taken into custody on the order of the Sovetsky District Court of Makhachkala.
