Russians do not want to move the capital, results of a poll show

 

Russians do not want to move the capital, results of a poll show Two-thirds of Russians do not want to move the capital to another city, according to a survey conducted by the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center. According to the survey, 75% of respondents generally agreed that Moscow can provide for itself and that the federal budget has to be sent to support regions such as Siberia, the Far East and others. Only 9% of respondents supported the idea of moving the capital to another city.
