The first Art Festival of Long-Livers was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan, the National Center of Cooking, and the Azerbaijani National Association of Cooking in the Lerik Region of Azerbaijan. A national pilaf contest was held within the festival, according to its organization team.
Creative people of 70 and older from various regions of the country participated in the festival. The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Abdulfaz Garayev, stressed importance of the contest for propaganda of Azerbaijani cuisines. Winners were awarded medals, diplomas, and gifts.
