13 Chinese and two Turkish miners were trapped in a private-owned mine in the Bartin Province of Turkey. The mine collapsed during construction of a new heading, ITAR-TASS reports.
301 miners died and 485 were saved in an explosion, fire and collapse of mines in the Manisa Province in May 13. Dozens of miners were hospitalized with symptoms of gas poisoning. 8 people were arrested over the accident.
