Su-27 jet crashes in Kazakhstan

A Su-27 jet of the Kazakhstani Air Forces crashed in the Almaty Province of Kazakhstan last night. 4 military helicopters and 10 search groups are searching for Lieutenant-Colonel Nauanov and Lieutenant-Colonel Gorbunov who were piloting the Su-27, RIA Novosti reports.


A special commission was formed to investigate the causes of the crash. The jet was reconstructed in Belarus in 2009 and had a lifespan of 3 years left.
