Both pilots of the Su-27 fighter plane which crashed in the Almaty area died, the Ministry of Defence of Kazakhstan reported."During search operations fragments of the bodies of the pilots - Lieutenant-Colonel Erlan Nauanov and Lieutenant-Colonel Denis Gorbunov - operating the Su-27 plane which crashed on September 23 in the Almaty region have been found," the press service of the ministry is quoted by RIA Novosti.
