Iranian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia Mehdi Sanaei has invited Patriarch of Moscow and All-Russia Kirill to visit Iran and meet with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, RIA Novosti reports.The Russian Orthodox Church has been cooperating with Muslims for 20 years. The Islam – Orthodox Christianity Russian-Iranian commission is the main dialogue platform. It was founded by the Russian patriarch in 1995.
