In North Ossetia the characters of well-known Soviet animated cartoons have started speaking the Ossetian language, thanks to dubbing by local actors. As one of the methods of promoting the national language, it was decided to translate Soviet animated films from Russian into Ossetian. The initiative was supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Specialists of the Ekspert-Media studio were engaged in the recording. The dubbing of 17 animated films is now finished.
