17-18th century remains found in South Ossetia

Over 30 tower remains and 12 burials of the 17-18th century have been found in the head of River Malaya Liakhva (Tskhinvali District, South Ossetia) by workers of the Vaneyev Science Research Institute, according to Irbeg Margiyev, the head of the expedition, ITAR-TASS reports.

Margiyev clarified that it was the first expedition in the area.
