Crimean Head Sergey Aksenov has made Eid al-Adha a day off on the peninsula. In June members of the Crimean parliament passed the bill on holidays, making Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Easter and Whit Sunday days off.
Eid al-Adha will be marked on October 4 (a Saturday) this year, so the free day will be shifted to October 6.
