North Ossetia has 25,000 drug addicts. Their number continues to rise among young people, children and women. A state program for prevention of illegal consumption of psychoactive substances was adopted for 2015-2017.
A drug courier has recently been sent to jail by the North Ossetian Supreme Court for 16 years.
